Old Town.

So, this will be a picture-heavy post - cause I'm gonna show you our WHERE we'll be tying the knot!!


Not really that pretty on the outside, huh.
But on the inside, it's a DIY jewel!!


This is the main entrance and the hallway to the stairs. You go up to get to where the ceremony and festivities following will take place!



These two photos show the top of the staircase. The first photo shows the doorway to the cocktail lounge, and the second photo shows the table where we'll have escort cards set up, and then the first doorway is the coat-check, and the second doorway is the room where I'll be getting ready :)

It's not much, but there's plenty of space and lots of mirrors and a bathroom :)


This is the view from the cocktail lounge looking out at the coat-check.


This is the cocktail lounge, we'll have the bar set up and the big pool table will have a wrap-around bar. The other tables will be removed.


This is the main ballroom! The ceremony will take place here, and during cocktail hour the room will be "flipped" to reception mode.


Here are Josh and my mom talking to the owner of the building. He gave us an amazing deal - $1000 for rental of the entire space from noon on Friday through noon on Sunday. So that means set-up and rehearsal on Friday, wedding celebrations on Saturday, and clean-up on Sunday!


I just thought I'd show you the chairs that come with the venue. White plastic folding chairs. We're debating between chair covers, or just getting sashes to go around the backs. What do you think?

  2. I think the place is adorable!!! And a kickass deal lol.
    And I'm going to cast my vote with sashes :) with glitter and bows and the whole nine yards hah!
