Away they go!

Just wanted to let you all know, that yesterday Josh and I took most of the invitations to the post office to be sent to all their recipients!!

 

I was super nervous, and got butterflies when the postal worker started hand-canceling them. My "babies" are all on their way (sans the one's we're hand delivering). We're only 4 months away now!!

Hair.

I know, creative title. Anyways, I was looking through some hair pictures today for some inspiration. I know I'm going to have someone else do my hair, but I'm planning on doing my makeup myself. Lets start with some hair-speration:

Whimsical and nymph-like? I love the orderly chaos look of this style, but I don't know how realistic it would be not only to do, but to keep looking like this all night.

So we talked about the other venues we looked at, so I think I'll show you my journey to finding my wedding dress!

This is a two post part. I guess I should've done these posts first and led up to our final decisions, so just pretend you don't know which venue/dress we/I picked yet!

So before we made our final decision, we visited a few different venues. Shall we get started?

Let's rewind.

Well I guess I never really told you my our story. I say our story, because well Josh and I have been a part of each others lives since 2001, when we were both in the 7th grade. These aren't FROM the 7th grade, I couldn't find any, but these I think are circa 8th grade:

Well, sometime in June probably, me and my mom popped around and I got to play dress up with my life-size doll, my Maid of Honor (who is also my sister) Kaitlin.

Before we say our "I Do's"...

Something that I wasn't so keen on before hand was the dreaded pre-marriage classes. Both Josh and I didn't like the idea of sitting around talking about our private lives and personal beliefs with a room full of people. We had already (sort-of) read The Five Love Languages, and not to mention we have known each other for eight years - dated for 5 and a half - and been engaged for almost 11 months, so we felt like we knew what we were getting ourselves into.

So back in January, Me and my mom and Josh's mom ventured out to the Seattle Wedding Show at the (HUGE) convention center.

Back in Business.

Hey everyone. So here's the deal.

I started my blog like, last year. My gmail account (the account I use to do my blog through) got hacked, so I deleted my account. At the time, I had no idea it was connected to my blog. So, now I get to start from the beginning all over again. But that's okay. I'm cool with writing it again if you're cool with reading it again :) Plus, I have TONS of new stuff since we're less than 5 months away from the big day!!

Anyways, expect some fabulous posts in bulk over the next week or so.
